MAKING DONATIONS

Can I donate food to GFN?

GFN does not accept food donations in our Chicago office. If you are a food or grocery company looking to donate product to a GFN member internationally, please contact us for more information.

Is my donation tax deductible?

GFN is a 501(c)3 charitable organization registered with the Internal Revenue Service in the United States of America. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by US law. Tax deductibility outside of the US is dependent on local tax regulations. GFN’s Tax ID number (EIN) is: 20-4268851

Will I receive a receipt for my contribution?

All contributions are acknowledged and receipted by GFN. Online donations are receipted via e-mail, and all checks, wire transfers, stock gifts, or other contributions are receipted in hard copy via postal mail unless otherwise requested.

Can I designate my donation to a specific country?

GFN does not have country specific funds. To discuss ways you can direct your support to GFN, contact us here.

How can I give in honor or in memory of another person?

Tribute gifts can be made online or requested via mail. When making a gift online, check the “Dedicate my donation in honor or in memory of someone” box and complete the honoree’s information. If submitting a gift via mail, please include a note informing our team of your wishes. Remember to include full contact information for the person who should receive notification of your tribute. A special letter will be sent acknowledging your thoughtful gift.
